Vice President of Business Development
Jackie Phillips, FHFMA, brings over twenty years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle sales and customer success experience to HealthWare Systems. She specializes in Eligibility, Revenue Recovery, Mid Revenue Cycle, and SaaS Solutions. Jackie is an active member and voting Director for the Texas Gulf Coast HFMA Chapter, having served as the 2018-2019 Chapter President. She is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and achieved the esteemed status of Fellow of HFMA in 2020. As the Vice President of Business Development, Jackie's primary goal is to enhance sales lead generation, marketing alignment, and client success for accelerated revenue growth. With her extensive experience, industry involvement, and strategic leadership, Jackie is instrumental in driving HealthWare Systems' success in the healthcare industry.
Kimberly Smelley, FHFMA
Vice President of Implementation
Kimberly Smelley, FHFMA, has been with HealthWare Systems since 2012. Kim brings over twenty plus years' experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle focusing on implementation and management of revenue cycle enabling technology products and services. Kim also has been an active volunteer over the past 10 years with the Texas Gulf Coast chapter of HFMA at both the chapter and state level. She served as the 2017–2018 chapter president and she achieved the esteemed status of Fellow of HFMA in 2019. As the Vice President of Implementation, Kim’s primary goal will be to drive process improvement that aligns with changing customer needs. Her responsibilities in this role include identifying opportunities for new service offerings and working with development, sales, marketing, and deployment to ensure flawless execution and implementation of all services to client sites.

Greg Hightower has been a pivotal figure in the company since 2010. With rich experience spanning over 25 years in Patient Access and Revenue cycle sales, Greg has been instrumental in the sales and marketing of revenue cycle management applications and services. His profound knowledge and expertise are further accentuated by his active memberships in renowned organizations such as HFMA, HIMSS, AMRPA, AHIMA, AHA, and MGMA. Over the past two decades, he has not only been a member but has also held various leadership positions, showcasing his commitment and dedication to the field. At HealthWare Systems, Greg's primary role is to scout and identify lucrative opportunities for new business, specifically targeting the hospital, healthcare, and B2B sectors. His past roles include significant positions like Director of Operations at Deco Recovery Management, Vice President of Patient Access at Cymetrix, and Regional Vice President of Sales at HealthWorks Alliance. He also founded Checkpointe Medical Solutions, further highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit. Greg's educational background from West Texas A&M University and the commendations he has received from industry peers underscore his competence and the high regard in which he is held in the healthcare industry.

Kyle Cole has a proven track record of over 25 years in healthcare service and software solution sales, primarily in Revenue Cycle. His driving priority is to identify and meet the needs of the customer. He cultivates and establishes loyal and solid relationships with key financial and revenue cycle leaders, and successfully identifies business opportunities. He is extremely active and visible in HFMA Chapter activities across the nation and has attained HFMA CRCR Certification. Ever committed to customer success, Kyle serves existing customers by conducting training sessions and seminars, managing requests for proposals with detailed and thorough responses, and seeks to present quantifiable value with each solution he proposes. He is known for his creative and adaptable approach to business development and is guided by the principles of integrity, loyalty, and professionalism.
